Quick start: test a strategy in a minute

Updated 28 Oct 2026

1. Get your trades out of your platform

Save a backtest report or your account history as a file. The export guide shows where the button is on MT4, MT5, cTrader and TradingView. Any CSV or Excel file with a profit column and a close time works too.

2. Load them into the test centre

Open the test centre and drop the file onto Step 1: Your trades (or tap to choose it). A sample backtest is loaded until you add your own, so the page always shows something.

Check the line under the box: it says how many trades were read and over how many trading days. If it looks wrong, see My file won't load.

3. Choose the challenges

Every account in the directory is ticked to start with. Untick the ones you don't care about, or use Clear and tick just a few. If your firm isn't listed, use Add your own challenge.

4. Read your results

Results update as soon as anything changes. Each account shows your pass chance, your chance to reach a first payout, and how failed attempts ended. They're sorted by payout chance, because getting paid is the point. Reading your results explains every number.

Tip: if every result is poor, try the Scale trade size box. Many strategies fail challenges only because they risk too much per trade.
