Install and run on MetaTrader 4

Install

1. In MetaTrader 4, choose File > Open Data Folder.
2. Open MQL4, then Experts, and copy the .mq4 file there. For a set, unzip the .zip first and copy every .mq4 file.
3. Open each file in MetaEditor and press Compile (F7).
4. In MetaTrader, right-click Expert Advisors in the Navigator and choose Refresh.

Run it

1. Open a chart of the strategy's market and timeframe and drag the EA onto it.
2. On the Common tab, tick Allow live trading, then press OK.
3. Turn on AutoTrading in the toolbar.

Sets on MT4

MT4 runs one EA per chart, so a set comes as one EA per market:

• Put each EA on its own chart, on the market it was made for.
• Keep the set name input the same on all of them (and the magic number as it came): that's how they share the prop guards, so a loss on one market counts towards the daily limit on all of them.
• Start them all before trading begins, and don't run a second copy of the set on the same account.

Backtesting in MT4's tester only runs one chart at a time, so it tests each market of a set on its own. Use MT5, cTrader or NinjaTrader to backtest a whole set together, or the builder's preview.
