Install and run on NinjaTrader 8

Install

1. Copy the .cs file into Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\Strategies.
2. In NinjaTrader, open New > NinjaScript Editor.
3. Press F5 (or the Compile button) and wait for the sound. It should compile with no errors.

Backtest it first

Open New > Strategy Analyzer, choose the strategy, the instrument and the timeframe. Backtests have no ticks inside a bar unless Tick Replay is on, so the prop guards are checked at each bar close there.

Run it

Open a chart of the instrument, right-click, Strategies, add the strategy, check the parameters and tick Enabled. Or add it from the Strategies tab of the Control Center.

Good to know

• Account size: set it to your prop account's starting balance. The guards add this strategy's own profit and loss to it.
• Don't trade the same account by hand while the strategy is running: the guards only see its own trades.
• Time zone: times use NinjaTrader's time zone (Tools > Options > General).
• For a set, one strategy trades every market in the set from a single chart. Every instrument must be available in your data feed.
