Install and run on MetaTrader 5

Install

1. In MetaTrader 5, choose File > Open Data Folder.
2. Open MQL5, then Experts, and copy the .mq5 file there.
3. Open the file in MetaEditor (double-click it in the Navigator, or open it from MetaEditor) and press Compile (F7). It should finish with 0 errors.
4. Back in MetaTrader, right-click Expert Advisors in the Navigator and choose Refresh. Your strategy appears in the list.

Backtest it first

Open the Strategy Tester (Ctrl+R), choose the strategy, the symbol and the timeframe from the builder, and the modelling Every tick based on real ticks if your broker offers it. Set the deposit to your prop account's size.

Run it

1. Open a chart of the strategy's market and timeframe. For a set, any one chart will do: the bot trades every market in the set.
2. Drag the strategy onto the chart.
3. On the Common tab, tick Allow Algo Trading. Check the inputs, then press OK.
4. Make sure the Algo Trading button on the toolbar is on (green).

Good to know

• Account starting balance: leave it at 0 to use the balance when the bot is attached, or type your prop account's starting balance so the guards measure from the right place.
• Magic number: the bot only manages trades with its own magic number. Give each copy on the same account a different one.
• Symbol names: for a set, every symbol must exist in Market Watch with exactly the name in the builder (some brokers add a suffix such as EURUSD.r). Change the name in the inputs if needed.
• Warm-up bars: the bot reads past bars so indicators are ready from the first tick. Make sure the chart has enough history loaded.
