Trading several markets: strategy sets
A set is one bot that trades up to 8 markets, each with its own strategy, while the prop guards watch the whole account. It's the safe way to trade several markets on one prop account: a loss on gold and a loss on US30 on the same day are added together, just as the firm adds them.
Making a set
Press Add a market above the strategy, and type the symbol exactly as your broker names it (for example GBPUSD, US30, XAUUSD). Each market gets a tab with its own indicators, rules and exits. Example set loads a working one to look at.
What's shared and what isn't
- Per market: indicators, rules, exits, trading times, risk per trade, most trades per day and the Friday close.
- Whole account: daily loss, maximum loss, profit target and best-day stops. When one is hit, every market's trade is closed.
- Chart timeframe: every market in a set uses the same one. Indicators can still use higher timeframes.
