The AI assistant: describe a strategy, explain your results
The builder has an AI assistant that does two things.
Describe your strategy
At the top of the builder, write your rules in plain English and press Build it. For example:
Buy EURUSD on H1 when the 20 EMA crosses above the 50 EMA and RSI is above 50. Stop 1.5 ATR, take profit at 2R, London session only, 0.5% risk.
The AI sets up the indicators, entry rules, exits, trading times and risk in the builder, then the page reloads with the new strategy. It lists any choices it made for you (such as an indicator period you didn't give), and anything you asked for that the builder can't do, so nothing is quietly left out.
You can also ask for a change to the strategy that's open: "add a news filter", "make the stop 2 ATR", "only trade Monday to Thursday". It keeps your risk, prop guards and chosen challenge unless you ask to change them.
- The new strategy is not saved until you press Save, and saving it won't overwrite a strategy you saved before.
- Changed your mind? Press Undo: put my last strategy back.
Explain these results
After you run a preview, a What do these results mean? box appears under it. Press Explain these results and the AI reads your results and the prop firm rules from our database, then explains what passed or failed and why, and suggests settings to try next. You can add a question, such as "why is FTUK slow to pay?" or "why so many losing days?".
It uses the rules of the challenge you chose under prop guards, any firm or account your question names, and the accounts listed in your results.
How many questions you get
| AI questions | |
|---|---|
| Signed in, no pass | 3 free, to try it |
| With a pass | 10 for each day of the pass (150 on a 15-day pass), up to 40 in one day and 300 in any 30 days |
Each Build it or Explain is one question. If the AI can't answer or is busy, it doesn't count. The counter in the AI box shows how many you have left. Daily limits reset at midnight UTC.
Good to know
- Check what it builds. The AI can get things wrong, so read the rules before you preview or export.
- It isn't financial advice. It explains and builds; it never says a strategy will make money or which firm to buy.
- What's sent: your text, the strategy you have open and, for explanations, the preview results go to Anthropic, the company behind the AI (Claude), to write the answer. Your email address isn't sent, and we don't keep the text of your questions or the answers. See the privacy policy.
